Our Pods Go Hard!
Our study pods hold the structure to our research based theory and practical training approach. Every morning, we start our day with Devotion learning the importance of Respect, followed by getting our teens Engaged in academics and career prep, and ending with an achievable Manifest plan by creating SMART goals. These pods were designed to allow teens to ART their voice – to express themselves in positive and structured manners while learning to attain academic and vocational curriculum using their gift of art.

Devotion
Inspires, motivates, encourages
Devotion is a mandatory session held at the beginning of the day to set the atmosphere of expectancy, inspire superior work ethic, and encourages dedication for goal achievement. Centered around BOTCP’s core values and Principles, they project a sense of acceptance and direction.
Respect
Builds trust and creates lifelong friendships and connections
We believe that we are our brothers and sisters’ keeper. Our teens are taught the importance of respect, loyalty, and boundaries. We provide hands-on lessons that yield instant insight of how security, trust, lifelong friendships, and connections flourish when these three (3) principals are combined. These workshops are hosted weekly in our counseling sessions.
Engage
Close academic learning gaps and fosters career prep
There are three (3) ways for our teens to stay engaged at BOTCP: Our MS M.U.D (MicroSchooling Method of Unlimited Self-Development) Study Pods, Voteck Workshops, and the Art Center. Each Program Pod is designed to slow learning down for our teens so that they gain a sure understanding of each lesson. Our MS M.U.D Study Pods offers state curriculum requirements such as Literacy & Foreign Language, Grammar & Writting, History, Arithmatic, Science, Technology, Health, and STEM Labs. Our pods are held in small groups of 10 for teens on academic levels 5-12. These pods are held on campus and via online programs. We use diagnostic assessments to pinpoint learning gaps then use the data collected to create tailor made learning paths per teen. Our Voteck pods are one of the many ways we will aid teens with building their career paths while providing them with a head start in college courses. We will offer programs such as Auto & Body Shop, Allied Health, Gaming Design, Beauty, Fashion Design, Robotic Engineering, Law: Civil Rights. These workshops will be offered on campus using theory and practical instructional methods. We use career placement assessments to assist career matching per teen as well. The Art Center is a safe space that teens have adopted as “the spot.” Teens are free to express themselves through their art. From painting and drawing to dance & music, and to animation creation from theatrical performances, there are art pods to entertain all. Our art program is membership based and is open for all teens to apply.
Manifest
Develop the dream into a reality
This pod host leadership workshops and activities that guides our teens in developing their dreams into reality. We advise our teens of the proper way to create action plans and how to conquer those plans using SMART goals. These workshops are membership based and are open for teens to apply.
At BOTCP, each lesson is thoroughly analyzed and explained, allowing for teens to fully grasp an understanding of each lesson before they are allowed to move on to the next. This caution will aid in minimizing learning gaps, anxiety of failure, doubt, and peer rivalry.
Our Principles
Our principles are designed to guide teens as they undergo extensive investigation to discover their ordained career paths. Essential life and career conduct are realized within each of these principles and are cultivated in our training pods to enhance their natural abilities and talents.
Character:
I understand how to initiate productivity, self-control, and integrity
Character demonstrates our mental capacity. It also clarifies, defines, and influences behavior in a most explicit manner. Thus, we educate our teens of character-building essentials such as academic and career productivity, emotional regulation, and virtues of integrity.
Destiney:
My existence is on purpose
We believe that every human being is predestined on purpose and given natural abilities to carry out certain task at particular times in life. Our programs will prepare teens for their destinies by revealing their identities through these offered educational opportunities.
Leadership:
I exemplify T.R.E.W leadership qualities
A T.R.E.W leader is an individual who is Trained and Ready to Engage and Win during every situation. We believe that the first steps to achieving this principal is learning how to serve. Our teens will undergo extensive real life, hands-on activities and counseling sessions that are designed to birth out core learning leadership skills that are contagious enough to influence and motivate effective change and build worthwhile connections in their neighborhoods.
Empowerment:
I have the power to overcome pivotal challenges
Teens will often times experience various physical, emotional, and physiological changes as they pivot into adulthood. This can be challenging to handle without a strong support system. Our mentor program along with a variety of self-care workshops, will undergird our teens as they explore ways to navigate and overcome these pivotal challenges.
